General Betting

Am looking for the best way to put bets on automatically on Betfair, no trading, just a simple way to put one bet on each race to save the time of putting them on manually each day. For an elderly family member who basically has a favourite number barrier position and spends a lot of time putting his bets on each morning. Australian races.
Anyone with advice on what type of application this would take? What the best way to go about it is?
