Getting odds on custom bets? #oddsonthat

I’ve tried #oddsonthat and the equivalent at many bookies now, and it seems more miss that hit with being sent odds back and that is with big events.....are the days over where you can go into the local bookie and ask for odds on things?, we’ve all heard the stories where someone had a 1000/1 bet on some insane event and it won, for example someone backed Judd Trump to become World champion within 10 (I think) years before he was even a professional snooker player, and few years ago there were odds on a alien encounter within the year lol but me asking for odds if Anthony Joshua will hold any Heavyweight boxing belt gets declined
