I received an email from Unibet today saying that they were processing my withdrawal of £708. I did not request this withdrawal and they are saying that it has been sent by Bank Transfer to an account in my name - they will not give me the account details.
I definitely did not request this withdrawal and nobody else has access to my account or it's related password. There must be some kind of security breach so please do not leave much money in your Unibet account until I can give updates. It does not seem safe atm.

Will do. I have been told by Unibet that they will email me with updates - nothing as of yet. I'm not sure why they just didn't stop the transfer as I notified them as soon as I saw the email from them saying that my withdrawal was on it's way...

I have betting accounts with pretty much every bookie out there and my funds in all other accounts are as they were. Seems like a Unibet problem tbh

I am getting nowhere with this. Unibet told me to inform the police which I did online via Action Fraud.

Action fraud replied that this is not considered a crime !!!

Any ideas please ? I'm £708 out of pocket atm...

I would seek the advice of a lawyer. Take all emails and relevant info with you and find out if it is worth pursuing Unibet through the small claims court. Large companies often settle in advance rather than go through that process.

May I assume that someone has accessed your Unibet account and added new bank details/account ? Those details should still be there. There must be account number and sort code where the money was transferred to which seems strange because the account name must also match yours I guess? It might also be worth double checking where you have stored your password/log in details, are they on a file on your pc for example? I assume you will have changed all of them since this incident?

The customer service advisor told me that the monies had been sent (vis bank transfer) to an account in my name so somebody must have set up a new account with my details - I have asked Unibet for these details but so far no reply from them. My keep my passwords in my head for my accounts but have changed them anyway since this breach.
