I know this has been posted a long time back, but I've lost the formulae.

If I want to do say 4 races for a Yankee, but want to place the bets in order and one at a time, what percentage of the overall stake should I place on the first race, second race etc.

Can anyone help?

yankee 11 bets.
if 1st one gets beat..you only have 4 bets left.
if first two gets beats...you only have one bet left

if u had a £1 yankee....£7 on your first selection

6 doubles 4 trebles 1 acca

this can be of benefit in some ways, what you are describing, but can be costly in others, and then there is the bottle.

if you do it singly Grin then my advice is to do the acca beforehand, i usually do the acca for twice the amount....the doubles/trebles

So few i can't remember.

However i don't do multiples on a regular basis and i have my own system which stakes less on the doubles more on the acca and EW thieve trebles, nothing less than 3/1 ever.I also will back the first or nap one only as a single.

In fact on Derby day i picked up 1500, was needing the last one for 10k. Staked 60 bills.

£7, £3, £1 simple enough if each pick beaten, more tricky if winners in the early stages
