Lingfield 1.10
Malaysian Boleh 149 Tabla 144 Malaysian Boleh good on his day and decent run last time out. C/D here and only on a very slightly higher mark. Tabla was a bit unlucky in running last time out after a long lay off - trainer had a winner and a place yesterday. Lingfield 1.45 Arrow Zone 180 Marshgate Lane 157 Arrowzone well clear on the ratings - could be on a half-decent mark (+ claimer's allowance) tiny bit of form here and juicy price. Marshgate Lane was BF last time out. Same mark today. Lingfield 3.30 Heads You Win 141 Celtic Ava 140 Heads You Win was just caught last time out at Wolvers and worth another go at a price. Celtic Ava is C/D here and last run is forgiven (by me!). J Egan on board. Sporting chance. Wolvers 6.15 Dakota City 117 Ravenhoe 111 Dakota City can go well off this sort of mark (this race shouldn't take much winning, btw) and the drop back in trip may suit. Course winner. Ravenhoe steps up in trip and ran well time before last. Fanning won on him last summer. Rasp. |

Lingfield 1.10 Malaysian Boleh 149 2nd 7/2 Tabla 144 Malaysian Boleh - came with a nice late run but couldn't quite go through with it. Tabla - flattered to deceive, as they say. Lingfield 1.45 Arrow Zone 180 Marshgate Lane 157 Arrowzone - pulled hard. Faded. Marshgate Lane - travelled well then not much room about about a furlong and a half out. Maybe a bit unlucky not to sneak a place. Lingfield 3.30 Heads You Win 141 Celtic Ava 140 Heads You Win - led all the way! WON 16/1 (BSP 24)Celtic Ava - didn't run a bad race. Kept on at the end. Wolvers 6.15 Dakota City 117 Ravenhoe 111 Dakota City - started slowly. Ran on into 4th. Ravenhoe - nutted on the line. Lingfield 12.15 Pacolita 184 Skidby Mill 152 Pacolita - Has only won over 6f/7f but has been placed over a mile a few times. Sporting price and interesting runner. Skidby Mill - on a pretty high mark now but C/D winner and Baker's won on him umpteen times. Bit short but should go well. Lingfield 1.25 Boomerang Bob 157 Quatrieme Ami 146 Boomerang Bob - C/D winner. In form and should go really close. Quatrieme Ami - Came out surprisingly high in the ratings but has a little bit of form here. Leap of faith but decent price. Wolverhampton 6.15 Magic City 125 Byres Road 124 Magic City - Hasn't won for two years but dropping down the weights and running well recently. Got to have an excellent chance. Priced accordingly. Byres Road - Won nicely last time out (lower grade) and upped for that but could improve a little. Trainer always seems to be in form! Wolverhampton 7.15 See Vermont 150 Indian Affair 118 See Vermont - Not getting any younger but another "flyer" on the ratings! C/D winner, has gone well frsh and cracking price! Sporting bet. Indian Affair - Decent run two weeks ago at Lingfield. Has won off higher marks and in this grade. Trappy race but another at a decent price. Rasp |

Ling 12.50 Franco's Secret 147 Byres Road 142 Franco's Secret - won three times round here and (even though upped 4lb) should go close. Juicy price. Byres Road - quite consistent lately and another CD winner. High enough in the weights but still good chance against these. Ling 4.15 Geoff Potts 169 Compton Prince 157 Geoff Potts - on a decent mark with claimer's allowance and trainer in a bit of AW form. Might surprise after a long lay-off. Sporting bet. Compton Prince - cracking on a bit (like a few of these) and only wins in his turn but in form. Newc 6.45 Poppy In The Wind 120 Foxy Forever 115 Poppy In The Wind - Bit to prove in this grade but ran well last time and decent claimer helps. Foxy Forever - good run time before last here (behind in-form Outrage) and must have a chance. Short enough in the betting. Newc 7.15 Testa Rossa 124 Rock Warbler 124 Testa Rossa - Upped again after his latest win but good around here and may still be ahead of the handicapper. Rock Warbler - Tried high here after smooth CD win in lower grade last time. Decent chance. Rasp. |

Lingfield 3.35 Elysian Prince 152 Aussie Andre 143 Elysian Prince won nicely last time. Upped a couple of pounds for this but could still find a bit more. Aussie Andre hasn't raced for fifteen months but has some half-decent form. Cracking price. Kempton 7.45 Intrude 166 Intransigent 161 Intrude is a real leap of faith. Comes out high in the ratings and hasn't run since last year. Big price and sporting bet! Intransigent ended a long losing run last time and has the beating of a lot of these! Should have won a lot more races in his time and decent chance/price today. Kempton 8.15 Marie 155 Revolutionary War 124 Mariee comes out high in the ratings but hasn't run for a good while. Trainer and jockey both in form this week. Revolutionary War battled well to win last week and due to go well on handicap debut. Priced accordingly though. Rasp. |

Lingfield 12.50 Bookmaker 148 Ross Raith Rover 142 Bookmaker won over CD last time out. Higher grade here but jockey's allowance handy. Could go well again. Juicy price. Ross Raith Rover did it nicely over CD last time out. Upped in grade but this is only his fifth race so could be more to come. Lingfield 2.30 Mossgo 142 Come On Dave 141 Mossgo hasn't won for eighteen months but a bit more like it last time behind The Big Lad (winner since) in December. Come On Dave ran well behind multiple winner last time. Upped a couple of pounds for that but could be coming back to a bit of form. Newcastle 7.45 Bint Arcano 137 Free Code 133 Bint Arcano won really well last time out at Wolvers and this is a race where a lot have chances. However, this one could be open to a good bit of improvement. Juicy price. Free Code is another one who hasn't run for a while but decent placed effort behind Holiday Magic at Wolvers in December and could surprise after a break. Sporting bet! Newcastle 8.45 Tango Sky 132 Hadley 124 Tango Sky ran a decent race at Kempton recently and similar mark today. This wouldn't take much winning (to say the least!)and a similar showing could do it! Hadley stayed on well last time at Suvvall and trainer and jockey in a bit of form. Good price! Rasp. |

Lingfield 3.10 Lunar Deity 155 My Target 151 Lunar Deity- winning at this level a year ago and a lot lower mark now. Ran a bit more encouragingly last time (admittedly in a claimer). Lingfield 3.30 Fast Track 151 Poyle Vinnie 147 Fast Track is upped a couple of grades after winning last time out but fancied here. Trainer in a bit of form. Poyle Vinnie normally does his best stuff at Southwell but given a decent chance here after running on when winning very smartly there last time out. Lingfield 2.35 Loyalty 149 Chevallier 147 Chevallier won very gamely over CD last week and this is harder but may find a little more to have a sporting chance at a decent price! Loyalty won very easily last time and is upped 8lbs for that. This is also much tougher but he has run well in decent grades in the past. Another at a price with a decent shout! Lingfield 3.45 Zac Brown 152 Monumental Man 150 Zac Brown only just beat Kasbah last time but stayed on well. Claimer's allowance helps and (despite the tipsters!) can confirm that running. In good form - two wins from four runs since the New Year. Monumental Man is another one that needs to find a bit but good run behind Verne Castle over course and distance last time gives him a chance. Newcastle 6.15 Veena 123 KI Ki 119 Veena is a bit short-priced here but in good form and difficult to get away from going for the hat-trick. Ki Ki is a sporting bet aainst the fav. Has one or two decent pieces of form and ran well over CD last time when second behind Spirit Of Zebedee (wnner since). Newcastle 7.15 Barwah 121 War Department 117 Barwah is a three-time CD winner and just between into second last time by Spinwheel who was winning here for the second time on the bounce. War Department won pretty cosily here last time out and has a good chance under a penalty. Claimer's allowance helps. Rasp. |
