Just seen this today - there is a pool for 'Pick 5' and you only have to pick between Win / Draw / Win.

If I bet on every possible outcome at £2 stake per line (thereby guaranteeing to win) - my total ticket cost is £486 for a total of 243 lines.

The prize for this is £5,000 - however it says "Pick the winning selection in every leg of this pool to win, or to share in the case of multiple winners, the 'Playing for' prize in the coupon header."

So my question is how many people am I supposed to be splitting this with? I imagine there will be quite a few people with the winning selection so let's say I split between 100 people - that means I would only get £50 for a £486 outlay - effectively making a £436 loss.

So what the heck is the point in this stupid 'betfair pools' product? You get a much better return playing American Roulette!!!
