BF is just an agent for Freds for Tote betting - they take your Tote bet, send it to Baldy, Baldy settles the pools when he likes, sends the results back to BF, BF apply it to your account. I'd imagine all of that is automated on the the BF side, doubt they have any influence over how fast or slow you get settled.
