In a perfect world the bet should be a winner.
Tennis Rules 1. In the event of a match starting but not being completed then all markets will be void except in the case of (2) below. 11. Total Games/Handicap games related markets - For the purposes of such markets a tie-break is counted as one game. In the event of forfeited points or games, these will count for final settlement. In the event of retirement, disqualification or change of surface during a match, all bets will be void unless there is no conceivable way the set and/or match could be played to its natural conclusion without unconditionally determining the result of that market. There is no conceivable way the match could be played to its natural conclusion without unconditionally determining the result of the market on total games. If the match was played to its natural conclusion there would always be at least 28 games in that match! If they had played a 3rd set, the least amount of games would be 6-0 to Wawrinka and it would make a total of 28 games. Hence the bet should be paid as a winner! |
