The term “fastest” broadband is a bit of a misnomer really. You only benefit from having faster broadband if you are downloading huge amounts of data in one go (i.e. video).
If all you are doing is sending/recieving small bits of information (say to Betfair for example) then a 152Mb connection won’t be any "faster" than a 2Mb connection. |

If you want the fastest connection to a particular server then you need to be as close possible to the other server ie as little physical cable and other hardware between your machine and that machine. Then it also depends on the speed of the server and whether it prioritises connections in any way.
