I use various sites but quite how Ladbr&kes  manages to have the slowest w&&k website I’m not sure, is it part of a strategy to deter people placing bets or something?

I love the idea of Matchbook, but their website is utterly terrible.

Ladbrokes is a disgrace slow loading (fast loading is 100% the most important thing on the internet) and difficult to find bets. The irony is that the guy that was responsible for the online dog5hit is now running the company.

8 8 8 sport has gotta be the worst.

I'd much prefer something that is virtually just plain text , no ads no nothing, and ergo fast as a result.
All the graphics and ad links make a slow to navigate ui just even worse.

Why do people bother with the 'big firms'
when they can get all they want on here?

duh better odds after commish
Report Rob_The_Bantam April 9, 2015 1:18 AM BST
Would you rather back Matsuyama at 70/1 at Fred, Tote or Boyles, or back at 69/1 on here with commission taken if he wins, ken?
Report kenilworth April 9, 2015 9:01 AM BST
Rob, please don't patronise me. I would actually rather
take the 69/1 as you suggest, than 70/1 with the books
in the comfort of my own armchair, then troll round the
streets looking for the bookmaker(s) you mention, and
find that the stick out price I'm looking for is not
available, especially as my High St doesn't have any of
the shops you mention. A fiver at 70/1 etc being worth
about 20p of value.

kenilworth - the thread is about websites not the high street

dave, another poster made comments regarding
my preference in betting which (IMO) required
a retort from me. I'm sorry if my remarks broke
your concentration. GL.

The Betfair website is the worst by a mile.

Two Exchange websites a farce.
Two Exchange websites hidden away on www.betfair.com.
No advertising at all for the Betfair Exchange website.
The Betfair Exchange website frequently down.

Well, this is awkward.
The site is pretty busy at the moment, so we can sometimes struggle to update our bet results page. We've got a crack team of tech ninjas working on the problem right now, so suggest you check back in an hour or so

Certainly wasn't intending to patronise you, it seemed like a legitimate question.  After all, every website is (in theory) as accessible as the next one, so just wondering what your motivation for taking a worse price would be.  As someone else has pointed out, we're talking about websites.  Not bricks and mortar shops.  If you're going to be argumentative, it would probably help you to at least talk about the issue at hand.

I wasn't intending to sound argumentative and I apologise
for seeming to divert from the original post, but I
do suggest you look in your dictionary for the definition
of the word 'patronise'. GL with your 70/1 bet.

I am very pleased that people aren't prepared to run round the shops to bet in two or three Korals between 8.30 and 8.45, then three to four Laddies, Mountains or Baldies between 9 and 9.15 on the horses.

It is the absolute foundation of my betting. I'm certainly not a pure arber and will often let bets run to expiry when I have (e.g.) bought 60% of a 100% book for an estimated 55% of the implied cost. I'll also trade prices, bet fancies at the top and much more often lay ones I don't like at the bottom.

I'd be much smaller than any fulltimer but still have made six figures over my lifetime betting since bf came in, and almost all of that is made up of £2 to £5 advantages.

If more people took the value at the shops, the big four would no longer hold their Pricewise guarantee.

Ladbrookes is one of the worst websites on the internet.  I get palpitations at the thought of having to use it, there has been improvements over the years but it amazes me how far behind the competition that site is.

Have to agree about Ladbrokes simply awful and you have to wonder if they'll be around in five years if someone doesn't sort the business out.
Corals is also naff.
