Baldfred---clueless

I'm limited to £50 in the shops.

Today I asked if the limit also applies to Tote bets and was told
they did.

I then phoned customer service and spoke to a very knowledgeable
young man who understood the stupidity of such a limit.

A few minutes later he rang back and said he had spoken to a
senior member of his team,and had been told that the limit will
stand.

So now I 'll go to my local shop to read the paper and any Tote
bets will have to be placed with Betfair on my mobile.

Baldfred will then pay Betfair a generous commission for taking
the bets on they behalf.
