I have an asus notebook and get the error message asus vibe 2 has stopped working and as a result I cannot connect to the internet

Presumably I need to download a new driver but how when I cannot access the internet ?

Any help greatly appreciated

A quick google suggests that Asus Vibe is a platform for delivering music/video content. Do you actually use it? If not then its best to try to remove it - although the same google suggests this is not as easy as it should be.

The first thing I would try is a "restore" to an earlier point to see if that fixes the problem (search for "system restore" on the laptop and take it from there.

You can try removing it via the add/remove programs tool:

You may be able to just prevent it from starting when you turn your laptop on, by disabling it via startup programs:
