Did I dream this or on the old API, didn't they switch off the bet delay for the duration of half time in inplay matches a few years ago?
I'm fairly sure they did, as it made sense.

It appears that in the new API it's taken a step back again, the delay remains stuck on during half time - when it obviously doesn't need to be?

I don't think they switched it off entirely, I think they dropped it to 1 second?

What's happening now - staying at the full in-play delay?

The delays seem largely random at times. I've traded different markets on the same match, some with a 5-second delay, some with 8 seconds. Sometimes, after a goal and the market is suspended, or after half-time and the delay dropped, the delays on the same market can interchange between 5 and 8.

For me it appears to be the full delay for the entire half time again, 8 seconds etc.

BF only do decreased half-time delay on certain matches. And I certainly remember the Spurs-Chelsea match on New Years Day was such a 1-second half-time delay match.
