No Pernsion payment

For the first time since i started receiving my UK Government pension, it has not arrived in my bank account, I have already spoken to my bank who say i must contact the Pensions office which i have done. Now this has to be done by phone or email as i live abroad. The PO say replied to my email saying it will take up to 10 days to reply. My personal situation has not changed (no i am not in jail!!) at all, except for getting older and poorer! Surely if there was a change of any kind by the PO, they would notify me yes?

Has this happened to anyone who might be reading this? I wonder if someone has managed to divert it in some way. All kinds of nasty things are going thru my mind. Of course there might be a simple explanation like a delay of some kind along the line, but at 74 one tends to think the worst hahaha.

Are you sure the payment wasn't in fact made early (e.g on 30 or 31 October)?

Sometimes that happens if you're usually paid on the 1st or 2nd of the month but the 1st falls on a Saturday or Sunday.

I would have noticed it if it had!! Besides it is made every 4th Friday. Someone on another thread said that they may have sent an 'Are you still alive form' If they don't get a reply after a while, they suspend payments. Perfectly feasible especially as i live abroad.

Yesterday i did a stupid in running horse lay which won by a head or thereabouts. I lumped on Joker in tennis and today won an over 1.50 footy match. I am currently on India to win so fingers crossed and all that Lol. GL today Ss!
