Can the providers of the numerous bots available view any automated systems that have been set up by its user?

Just a privacy question really - could they effectively copy a successful automated system for their own benefit too?

Apologies as I have also asked this question in the Horse racing section

yes. of course they can.
spyware does it all the time.
All they need do is scan your pc for installed programs
then use a key logger or even monitor your internet traffic
If youre communicating with anything along a telephone wire then it can be intercepted in numerous ways.

when you put down the phone, how do you know its 'off'? they could still be listening....
Google it. you'll be surprised and appalled in equal measure.

Thank you Lex

I appreciate that the actual bet placed could be viewed/seen but how about the criteria that led to that selection?

In other words, if I had a bot set up with several conditions that had to be met for a bet to qualify can the bot supplier also see my criteria/settings?

Hope what I'm saying makes sense - any replies/knowledge greatly appreciated, thanks

if the criteria is from external data then yes. If its hard coded inside the application I would say probably.

Do betfair use bots?,
Which would explain why odds always disappear back or lay in front of ones eyes.
Can anyone prove to me that they do not otherwise?
