I have created a couple of spreadsheets for recording bets. Back, Lay, etc but mainly for level stakes or backing a percentage of a bank.

What I want is ficed liablity laying, and I can't seem to be able to work it out. Saying that, I am pretty hopeless with Excel.

So for exmaple, if I wanted a liability of £10, and H3 is my stake & I3 is the lay odds, what would be the calculation?

Cheers.

If your liability is to be £10 you should divide £10 by the odds -1 to get the stake eg odds are 3 then stake is 10/(3-1)=5 So H3 = 10/(I3-1)
