How much are you limited to and by who?
Nothing illegal about wearing a mask but I'd be surprised if you'd get served. Difficult to see how they can refuse to pay. Why can't you get someone else to place your bets?(preferably a machine player) |

I'd guess they'd think you were about to rob them!
You sound fairly desperate to get on, to try that - are you restricted in all shops (different bookies too)? Must have done pretty well to get that! |

The mask would be like an ID, unlikely that two people would be strange enough to place a bet wearing the same mask, so you should get paid out. You'd probably have to have a variety of masks though, in case they cottoned on. So, if you went into one shop wearing a Batman mask they would ring round, but if you had changed to a Del Boy mask by the time you hit the next shop, you could have what you want on.

Wigs normally do the trick. It doesn't have to be a good one either. You can pick them up quite cheaply as well.

They might think you are Frank Maloney though.

I'm SP everywhere, and a machine player won't know what to do if the price changes between being given the slip and placing the bet.
Can a bookie refuse to pay out cash and insist on a cheque only? Can they refuse to payout before ID is shown? |
