hi all, does anyone know if you can use a vpn to bet in play from countries that don't allow betfair to be used in play? thanks .

depends what you have as your country of residence.

if say the ozzies didnt allow in play but you tried using a vpn to try to then it wouldnt work.
if i was on holiday in oz but my residence was in the uk....no problems

if your bank address (the same as your address on betfair) is in the uk no problemo.

if your address is in jurisdictions that do not allow in running then no matter if you use a vpn you wont be allowed because it will be flagged up on their system no doubt.

using vpns for gambling in foreign places is a reverse freeroll - there is always a chance that any winnings will be confiscated but any losses will stand.  The biggest poker site will be full confiscation mode next month when WSOP players try vpn-ing from Vegas.
