I have just downloaded this program for the first time and finding it a little confusing.  The activity i am trying to do is place tennis bets ( match odds) 2 minutes before the event starts at the available odds at the time, can anybody advice me on this operation. I have around four bets i want to place a day.

I want to place these bets in the morning before i go out to be activated 2 minutes before the event starts.

Their forum is the best place for the question.

The gruss forum is a separate sign up. I'm not sure how you can do this if it needs to be 2 minutes before the first serve because the matches don't really start at a specific time?

2 minutes before the scheduled off! Not two minutes before the actual start off, which in reality might be subject to fluctuation because the previous game goes on longer than maybe expected.

I am looking to put a bet on 2 minutes before the scheduled off.

Thats what I meant. I think you can do this with the conditional bets feature.

Is it only possible to put one bet on with this feature if you take your bet off the page and go to another tennis match i think the bet is cancelled, i think.

Tbh I've not used conditional bets too much so I'm not certain. The help file states

IMPORTANT: Conditional bets will only be active while you are viewing the market. If you subsequently open another market the conditional bet will not be retained and therefore never triggered. If you need to have conditional bets on multiple markets you need to open a separate tab page for each market and leave them open.

In the long run it might be easier to use an excel sheet, should be able to automate the bets and times, but a bit of work setting it up.

Opening up another tab maybe a reasonable option I don't know about excel my knowledge of spreadsheets is very basic, thanks for your help.

Does anybody know? The time stated under the rules key on Betfair's website regarding tennis match start times, can matches start before the scheduled off time? Or do they have to wait until at least that scheduled time to start?

I follow tennis extensively.

Rare for a match to go off early with 3 set matches scheduled.

If weather causes delays the day before, then they will race to catch up the following day.

after placing first conditional bet on a match, click "new page" top left of screen
Report TameTheTiger • May 1, 2014 9:52 PM BST
this opens a new page to place bets on another match. Do the same for any other matches

I'm not sure opening a new page works, i tried it, I think you have to keep re-opening the betting assistant up for as many times you put bets on.
