£10, £20 and £70 for me too. And despite accumulating a few big points, I'm still unlikely to reach my targets. Personally, I think it encourages irresponsible gambling but that might be due to my strategy.

Do you just have to go to the web page to opt in to this? I can't see any opt-in button - just my points total.

I've managed to get the fiver!! Get in!! That means I'll get back the money I lost on the first at Fakenham yesterday when I put on a bet just to watch the race on Live Video which wasn't working.

I think once you go into that page you have opted in.

£150, £50 and £25.

Ridiculous targets, though.  I generally don't even bother looking any more.

My prizes were £25/£50/£150. The targets are carefully chosen per account, so if you aren't increasing your betting during the promotion, you won't be reaching the targets.

Yeah I get that they vary the amount of points you need to get a prize, but I find it a bit strange they also give people different amounts.

Getting 20 quid in exchange for tens of thousands in commission paid does make me chuckle. Can't look a gift horse in the mouth though.

Seems everyone gets cash as well? There used to be ipods, xboxes, signed football shirts and the like.

Imv it's a very ****-eyed promotion. They shd be promoting prices i.e. fractionally arb-able bets. The company has a bookie's mentality--people shdn't be able to buy money from them. Of course the money-buyers are some of their biggest customers and most valuable clients and liquidity providers.

Bet £5 then lay £5.01.  I think you can watch then.

I remember they used to have some non-cash prizes, I once won a laptop from one of them.

I still think the concept is a little odd. Betfair points are a difficult concept in the first place (just read the rules about the calculations) so deriving a promotion off of them is a strange idea to me. Though I suppose if Betfair actually presented the cash race as the equivalent 'bet this many £ to win a £25 prize' then they would be laughed at.

If I've done my sums right, Betfair will give me a £25 cash prize if I bet £201,040 with them during the promotion. How generous!

I've had to turn over a ridiculous amount to hit my top target, the top reward is about 0.1% of bets I've generated

Not even updated on the final day. So no idea how many points I can't get to not reach my target.

I bet and lay a fiver just so I can bet in running using live video. With it being a bank holiday I didn't have time to do it pre-race, tried a quick back and lay of the fav, the price of which shot up after I backed it. Then live video wasn't working anyway. I'm only 200 points away from getting £10.

10 - 20 - 70 euro

I have pipped the 20 mark but not making a special effort to reach 70, just so as BF can collect more commission. Or not as the case maybe. Like someone mentioned previously, can't look a gift horse in the mouth, I will take it any way I can....(cash that is) Wink

"Had to" and "ridiculous" don't seem to fit together well here.  Sounds like a good promo to me!

I missed the targets altogether this time but that'll help my scores next time, presumably.
