Hi forum i have a Acca finishing tonight that requires Real Madrid to win for a £6500. But I have bottled it. Half of that is a lot of money to me and i cant afford to risk it.

So I have never layed a team before and my question is is the following correct

£2900 (backers stake) lay Real Madrid at 2.26 (pink colum) gives £3654 Liability eg I pay £3654 and if Barcalona win or draw i get £2900 back?

If Real Madrid wins I get £6500 back from my Acca.

Does this sound right? would you do it differently?

What you said looks right to me.

I'm amazed that you've been on here since 2006 and never layed. Unless there's something I'm misunderstanding?

Yes, your calculations look right. Don't forget you'll pay up to £145 quid comission (depending on your rate) if RM lose.
