My son took a cash out on the Taylor v Smith darts match and saved about 66% of his bet. My bet was bigger but there was no cash out option showing and as a result I've had to take the loss.

Any thoughts guys?

I know it should have been available but the answer looks like if I had just clicked to switch to the new site I could have done it as I've just tried that and seen the 'Cash Out' option along the top line.

Even on old site you can cash out "manually" like people have been since day 1, and a lot of people still prefer to do.

E.g. say you're 100 pounds green on Taylor and odds are 50/50 (2.0/2.0) you could "cash out" to guaranteed 50 quid each by laying Taylor 50 quid @ 2.0 odds and so on.

Cash out is just doing the same but doing the maths for you, like say you back Man U pre kick off @ 1.9 and they go ahead you might cash out @ 1.1 to an even win in case there is a late equaliser and so on. "Show What If" on the site helps a lot with this.

Waking up to what went wrong and it's a mistake I shouldn't have made. Apart from the reply above I could have also just switched quickly to the new site and clicked the 'Cash Out' option there. Expensive lesson learned........

Well just offering a tip ;) A lot of people hate cash out and the new site. I never use cash out as anytime I DID look at it when it came in, it seemed to be very buggy maths, like offering me a guaranteed profit when I knew 100% I was on a guaranteed loss and profit was impossible. I had not trust in it when I've ever looked at it, and only used it about twice for the novelty.
