The only advantage of using the sportsbook is that you may get your bet matched if you are betting in a less liquid side market.
However, you are also may get the same amount matched at other bookies at better odds.

The sportsbook is a complete waste of time - the exchange is THE way to bet - all sorts of options with in-running being a massive tool for the punter.
