Hi, I'm thinking about moving to the Netherlands, is there access to Betfair (as an Exchange) / are there any plans of banning it like in France or in Spain?

Site and api are working, don't know if they will ban it in future more likely they will legalize it in the same way as weed and prostitution

Anyway, it used to be fine but I think the dutch government wanted to keep a monopoly on controlling gambling and tried to stop BF. There was a long running battle between betfair and the dutch government in the courts that's well described on the net, not sure how it ever worked out or if it's even still ongoing. I think they might stop dutch bank accounts / cards paying into BF but you can still access it over the internet or something? |

Not sure how easy betting is in Holland full stop. I think they're basically limited to a Tote-style betting outlets, and according to a Dutch guest on Greyhound TV last week, they don't even bet on Greyhound racing, just watch them.
