Lots of overheads, rent/bills/staff etc.

So they must be making good money from the mugs daily.

Anyone with experience have any ideas of the average numbers?

would have no idea how much they make, the casino games etc etc are the money makers for these sites, one thing i would like to know though is , do bookmakers make money on everybet , as in do they have it set so they get a return of every bet, seems to me when a games even money as in both teams paying say 1.87, does that mean they make 13 cents in the dollars or something, i would be keen to know.

sometimes on 365 if you click say on bet 365 maximum bet you can take then if you wanted a bigger bet they refer you to a trader, seems to me they must have the book balanced so they profit,am i correct.

Independents make less than the big multiples because the overheads are SO unbalanced - and vast.
An average (indi) shop would need to make a clear profit of about £400 a day, a big firm shop about half of that!
Just to break even.

This would averagely represent a turnover of £1.5K daily plus a win on any machines.

It doesn't happen every day by any means. A losing day of say £500 (not much) means a need for even more profit on subsequent days.
So to answer your question: In most cases, they make just about enough to cover themselves maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less.

The mugs are all online splunking their money on silly casinos. The older mugs either still live in the past and bet in 30 year ago amounts, or aren't as well off as they used to be.

I turned over more than 1 million in the last year on the whole lot, and made enough for a bowl o soup.
All you do is make money for everybody else but yourself.
You can make more dealin with a few half wits on the blower.
I'm not sure what the big 4 shops are making a week, but going back about 20 years a decent independant could make easily a couple of grand a week.
6 days a week with no nights or FOBTs.

We had an indy bookie open in our high street about 8/9 months ago, sadly they went out of business a few weeks back. Apparently the FOBTS were to blame for this for paying out so much.

I work for Joes taking OTC last week 8k pay out 12.5k fobs what they made on the week couldn't buy a decent bottle of wine.

A guy who posts on here has the best idea take them in a pub on a Saturday and you will definitely make more.
