Hi,

Does anyone happen to know where I could get hold of a microphone which would just record by itself for at least 24 hours, and which is small and discrete and I can leave it in someone else's bag recording?

:)

Not sure if sarcastic or serious, but I'm sure there's a vast choice on ebay :)

just ring GCHQ and ask them what you want to know ... you've paid for them, you might as well use them imo

Bit pricey but this sounds close:

Do a search on "Spy Shop". There are loads of online suppliers. There's a bit of stuff on ebay too.

Saw a cool app not long ago where you can remotely activate the camera on your phone and watch it on a tablet or other phone.  Can't remember what it was called but with the right apps most people have got the hardware to do this sort of thing already.
