Betfair is charrching me comissions between 5-6% , when the market rate is "5% Market Base Rate (minus your discount)" . What has change?

The market base rate specified in the 'Rules' tab in the 'full market view' of a market is usually 5%, however please refer to emails or web messages from Betfair explaining our current charges. In Albania, Armenia, Croatia, Monaco, Serbia & Montenegro, and Slovakia the default Market Base Rate is 7%. In Indonesia, Malaysia, Poland, and Romania the default Market Base Rate is 6.5%. In Argentina, Belarus, Columbia, Estonia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Mexico, and Singapore the default Market Base Rate is 6%. In Norway and Finland the default Market Base Rate is 5.5%. Strange that the markets says "The market base rate is 5 %" , but maybe you live in/access Betfair from another country ? |
