Jason Greenslade has finished third in his last three events. The 'Welsh Wizard' currently sits in 8th place in the Champion of Champions table and still has a chance of making the top 4. It's a difficult day ahead but if the world number 13 can start well against Tim Stone he could cause some problems against Dawes and Skelton later on.
It's been a disappointing Winter Season for Tim Stone. He's now lost 9 of his last 9 games and has only won 38% of his games in 2013. Stone is still a class act and it's only a matter of time we see him back to his best. I fancy Tim taking at least 1 victory today.
Mark Dawes continues to impress with another superb performance on his last appearance. It's surprising to see Dawes down in 9th place in the overall standings but it just goes to show the quality of the competition. He remains in fourth place in my stats table winning 24 of his 37 games played in the Super8serieS in 2013. I'm a huge fan and I'm looking forward to the battle with Simon Skelton. I wouldn't back against Mark today.
Simon Skelton's impressive form continues. The world number 15 has played in every final he's participated in during the Winter Season. He currently sits in 3rd place in the Champion of Champions table and could go top after Greg Harlow's slip up two weeks ago. Statistically, Skelton is the second best player in the Super8serieS on win percentage. I fully expect Simon making it 5 final appearances from 5.
