Firstly, I enjoy gambling and without it I'd probably be bored out of my brains. Some people think gambling is about just putting a bet on, but for me it's spending countless hours looking at stats etc.

BUT... It really does bring the dark side out of me!!!

I feel hatred towards the player that has just cost me money, it's terrible!!! The times I screamed at Nadal during the French cos he was demolishing my big money bets was unbelievable! I'd be surprised if the neighbours didn't hear me!

Here's one for you...

You've got a bet on a player to beat Murray (1st name that popped in my head!). You'll get a lot of money if Murray loses. Murray slips and hurts himself. Now what do you care more about, Murray or your big win??? I definitely know what I'd be thinking about!!!

The whistle is about to blow and your big win goes pear-shaped when the opposing team equalizes! How much hatred do you feel towards the scorer! You don't! Then I definitely have got a problem!!!

stop overstaking then

It's nothing to do with overstaking. I don't lose that much. Sometimes though when I get close to a big win it can feel like I've lost a lot. I don't spend what I can't afford. The way I stare at the screen for hours you'd think I had the house on it!!! I think the passion for winning can affect my temperament more.

Probably not even then - but who cares, it's good to hear that there are non-deluded recreational gamblers having fun and not losing the house. That's how it should be.
