Betfair acquires customer database of Blue Square 02/04/2013 Betfair Group plc ("Betfair") today announces that it has acquired certain assets, including the customer database, of online bookmaker Blue Square Bet for £5m. From today, all Blue Square customers will be automatically redirected to Betfair where they can access a full suite of sports betting and gaming products and receive a promotional welcome offer.  Trying to phone the helpline is pathetic. Been waiting for over 20 mins with no answer. Had over £100 in Bluesq. ffs Betfair this is so annoying  |

My account balance for some reason was transferred to Mecca Bingo. So at least that is sorted now

Seems a little **** to take clients money from blue square and deposit it in a new betfair account.
Surely Blue Sq should have offered clients a chance to withdraw their funds first. Card details have not been transferred over. I wonder if they will be requesting ID before allowing Blue Sq customers access to funds. |

my max bet on there has been about 50p for 5 years, havent logged in for at least 2 years so i wont miss them.
even if they let me bet actual money, ive no interest in using betfair fixed odds anyway. im 100% done with internet bookies and the stupid game of restricting your stakes to buttons. however much they paid to "buy" me as a customer was wasted. strange way to do business, never known anything like it before. id imagine most accounts they bought are people who already have a betfair account or opened a blue square account years ago just to get a free bet and wont even know about this as theyve changed their email address 50 times since they last logged in! |

Thing is Coachbuster you 1st have to log in at Blue Square, 2nd confirm details (where I fall flat as it won't accept my d.o.b) and third activate your account.

Simply the worst betting firm on the net. Bets limited to miniscule amounts and refusing to respond to emails, promising to return calls then failing to call. Total dissatisfaction with them. |
