I've posted this in Horseracing but thought I'd try here too.
Has anyone had their Best Odds Guarantee 'concession' removed from either their William Hill, Paddy Power or Betfred accounts? In other words, has anyone ever tried to place a Best Odds Guarantee bet and been told it's not available to them?
I'm particularly interested in William Hill, but Paddys and Betfred examples would be useful too.

Yes, I regret to say that I can longer get BOG with betfrd. Despite the sign on the wall saying " BOG all races" in this particular shop I used, the man said, "sorry, SP only for you."
I never thought I'd see the day, but it happened.  Went back a few weeks later and looked for a moderate bet at "live prices" from the screen. The guy pulled a face but allowed it " just this once". And, yes, I was one of those who thought all the stuff on here about not being able to get on was BS. What's the main reason for your interest? |

I opened a Betfrd online account a week last saturday morning (3rd) banged £50 on a scottish game layed it on here to get my free bet. My bet won on the betfrd side so went to check my winnings and to place my free bet, they tell me my account is under suspicion and block my account so i cant even log in. Various live chat and emails all week finally went back onto chat again and they tell me its all sorted and i can now log on. No explanation, nothing. Only took them 9 days. Once my free bets settled i wont be going back. Its wrong when they have your money like that.

Its ridiculous. Surely not everyone they restrict is going to be a long term winner. The UK/Gib 'bookmakers' are a disgrace. Thanks goodness for Betfair and the foreign books where you can get on to reasonable stakes with no hidden charges.

sean rua - it relates to a dispute about Best Odds Guaranteed (I can't say any more at this stage but I'll happily come back and explain further once the dispute is settled). I'm interested to know whether anyone else has been told that the Best Odds Guaranteed promotion is not available to them by any of William Hill, Betfred or Paddys (particularly online). |

Paddy removed my BOG ages ago.Then they put restrictions on the account.They all do it eventually if you look like you have a brain.It's called "mug filtering".
