Even I think it is getting a bit ridiculous now ....
Anyway starting bank of £1K. Bet on anything and everything. Officially started 9.10pm

Just lost a bit on an Aussie horse race but then won a lot more on the Mv vs Newcastle soccer game ip ..... Bot set up for the horse lays ..... might go surfing
Okay got two greyhound selections set up in the bot as well ... which leads me on to yesterday where prior to this new challenge .... things started off poorly.
With the greyhound lay selections (apart from the ones I guess at) there are a couple selected based on specific criteria yet with yesterday none fitted (so I did like any normal person would do) made two fit ... yep you guessed it they both won (oh the woes of an amateur dealing with losses ) .....
Then later on I layed a horse quite large which I only noticed inrunning are the types of ones which I like to to avoid ..... with it's odds getting lower and lower (ir) .... what do you do get out as best you can or let it run ..... decided to let it run and it duely won ....
... another one was in the football where one team had a red card for quite a long period. Inplay I bet on one more goal and ended up duely losing a lot ..... fascinating things red cards in working out how both teams react to it ie: all out attack or protect the current scoreline .... on this occasion I got it wrong and paid big time.
Luckily in this morning's soccer match (red card in it) Melbourne Victory scored another goal to make it 5-0 but then I also won some more on under 5.5 goals when I felt things were flattening out ....
Enough rambling for today ....

Undern mate, you obviously have money to burn but I think in order to achieve a challenge or get anywhere near finishing it, you need to change your mindset. If you can convince yourself that THIS 1k is ALL the money you have to bet with, nothing else, just this last 1k, then you might take it more seriously thus think out the bets a little better or research them a little more.

You "look forward" to reading underns daily garbage? seriously? why?
undern should be posting his silly pretend "challenges" in chit-chat, not on a serious sub-forum.
Sliced, the thing i find "enjoyable" about Underns challenges is his brutal honesty, he puts up every bet he makes, and he doesnt take himself too seriously while doing it.

Challenge Summary:
Seriously have to have a good look at myself in the mirror ....... okay I am still looking as ruggedly handsome as ever ... but boy I am doing a good attempt at giving money away.
Especially after a nice start on the Aussie footy where did it all go wrong .... bot was set up and I was heading out for the day. The problem was that where I went I had access to a laptop computer and proceeded to bet on anything and everything without due care or attention (I didn't watch any of the racing) ..... at least I watched half of the football. Many of the bot selections ended up being outside the set odds ranges which didn't help.
Wasted money left right and centre and to top it all off in the last bet I had on a greyhound race ..... simply to pinch a few extra pounds I layed a 16/1 greyhound (yep I know) while the other 5 Dogs were around 4.5 to 5.5 odds. Thought easy money .... .... yep you know the result.
So if I had simply let the bot get on with it .... it would have a been a small profit but profit none the less but again I get involved when not fully focused in what I am doing ...
Something is going to have to give .... either I quit betting all together or I pull my finger out and do it properly ..... apart from that it is damn embarrassing posting up these successive horse betting losses (as it looks like I have no idea )

I thought as much Smithy, some people would rather mock than give encouragement. We know which category Sliced fits into.
Challenge Summary:
Getting a bit sick and tired of losing too much too quckly so thought I'd try something different and bet as if I only had £100 and see how far that got me .... not a bad attempt considering how many bets I made and the mini-bank involved ... only went in once (I think from memory and that being lay of AV in the footy although did green up ip) .... amazing what you can do when you focus hard .... especially the stuff on the Aussie greyhounds this morning. Away most of tomorrow so not much betting ....

Challenge Summary:
After the kick in the teeth from last night's football I again tried to continue betting with low stakes to win low amounts but simply got nowhere. Well actually I did get somewhere ... I think from memory winning around £150 profit but then losing it all in a couple more bets .....
I thought stuff this I'd give it one final push (bank was back around £350 at the time) with some heavy hitting (some big swings up and down) but eventually came out with a nice profit via the big lay of PSG in the footy (greened up partly when they were down 0-1 and later on progressively when 1-1) ..... if this bet had lost it would have been game over for this challenge ...

After the kick in the teeth from last night's football I again tried to continue betting with low stakes to win low amounts but simply got nowhere. Well actually I did get somewhere ... I think from memory winning around £150 profit but then losing it all in a couple more bets .....
I thought stuff this I'd give it one final push (bank was back around £350 at the time) with some heavy hitting (some big swings up and down) but eventually came out with a nice profit via the big lay of PSG in the footy (greened up partly when they were down 0-1 and later on progressively when 1-1) ..... if this bet had lost it would have been game over for this challenge ...

Challenge Summary:
Bit hit and miss ...played on later last night coming up with some losses (like in the tennis) but this morning nicely picked up some wins laying very heavy favourites (especially) in the Aussie racing. It is funny with the Aussie betting ... sometimes I and busy so can't play while sometimes I can sit there and all works nicely while other times not .... I guess being focussed is a key thing.
Must admit having got back into a profitable position with this challenge .... feeling quite good about my betting ... but these can turn around so quickly so just trying to play it without much thought on trying to reach a particular figure by a particular time.
Bit busy over the weekend so won't be around too much - good to see I am still in Reged's Lay Comp ....

I basically stuffed this challenge up (and more) completely yesterday .... would have got back on track if France had won in the RU 
....
..... so aside to the challenge I have just been playing less and doing some biggish bets using a £1K bank ..... just had my biggest win bet for a long time .... won around £1.4K on a very nice lay of Spirit of Shankly (BFSP 1.22) in the horse race just gone .... and yes I greened up . Initial lay was to win £3K ....

Challenge Summary:
In truth ... I wrecked this challenge yesterday (poor start in the Aussie racing did me no favours) and in turn lost more than what the challenge bank actually had left in it .... hits in the Everton game (over 3.5 goals) didn't help.
So I simply kept playing (played less but with some heavier bets) .... nice win on Wales in the RU but lost out big time in the Ireland match (which like I already mentioned would have got me back in the game so to speak) ..... TBH I have no idead how much I was down yesterday but played a bit late last night and also had some nice wins one being the large lay of a heavy horse fav and the win in the Italy H/Cap markets ..... even did a lay of MU when 2-2 in the FA cup match late on ....
Will try and work out what the closing balance was for 9th March ... but lets just say I used up more than the challenge bank had in continuing betting (call it a loan ) ....

In truth ... I wrecked this challenge yesterday (poor start in the Aussie racing did me no favours) and in turn lost more than what the challenge bank actually had left in it
.... hits in the Everton game (over 3.5 goals) didn't help. So I simply kept playing (played less but with some heavier bets) .... nice win on Wales in the RU but lost out big time in the Ireland match (which like I already mentioned would have got me back in the game so to speak) ..... TBH I have no idead how much I was down yesterday but played a bit late last night and also had some nice wins one being the large lay of a heavy horse fav and the win in the Italy H/Cap markets ..... even did a lay of MU when 2-2 in the FA cup match late on ....
Will try and work out what the closing balance was for 9th March ... but lets just say I used up more than the challenge bank had in continuing betting (call it a loan

Nice to see I am still in Reged's Laying Comp .... seriously need to do less bets and be far more selective ... a lot of effort yesterday for literally no profit (then again at least it wasn't a losing day).

After the last update played later on some USA racing and paid a heavy price .... so spent most of yesterday clawing it back with some interesting bets. thought I was back on track only for a large bet on the England Women's footy came unstuck when they scored twice in a couple of minutes. Rest of horse racing went well while I even won on the tennis
Nice to see I am still in Reged's Laying Comp .... seriously need to do less bets and be far more selective ... a lot of effort yesterday for literally no profit (then again at least it wasn't a losing day).

The worst part of yesterday was changing my selection on Reged's Lay Comp .... and now out.
Very poor start in the UK racing. Some heavy hitting going on inbetween some more sensible betting. Went out last night for dinner ... love my Thai food ..... came back and saw a big hit in the Barca game. Very nice win on the Errani tennis match earlier on though ... enjoyed watching the match.

Challenge Summary:
Despite one early hit things on the whole were going very very nicely until I decided to try and do a trade ir on a nice fav .... the horse won easily and I lost heavily (£600) .... so I then played some more .... a hit in the Blackburn game ... a very nice lay on a low odds USA horse fav and ending with a nice win on Kirilenko in the tennis.

Despite one early hit things on the whole were going very very nicely until I decided to try and do a trade ir on a nice fav .... the horse won easily and I lost heavily (£600) .... so I then played some more .... a hit in the Blackburn game ... a very nice lay on a low odds USA horse fav and ending with a nice win on Kirilenko in the tennis.
Yes I do know for the size of the challenge bank the staking is too high

Not a bad day ... spoilt a little by the losses towards the end on the horse racing. Trying to bet sensibly and be a bit more selective in the bets. Was watching the darts in the pub and decided to have a bet ip .... Must admit somedays I like to bet on anything and everything while other days happy to wait and be patient ....

i agree, very few people would follow underns cavalier approach to betting, but then very few people on here have his money so live and let live and its quite simple, if the thread annoys you then dont read it then post on it...its hardly rocket science ffs

Trying to look on the bright side but I for one am devastated at the news.
