I have just had a great idea .... 
.... seriously !!
To keep my involvement in "challenges" going but perhaps retain some short-term aims and interest - instead of doing the usual £1K to £100K challenges I am going to do monthly challenges instead.
Now I could leave it till tomorrow to start .... but since there is one day still to go in February why not to get some practice now ... so off we go with the February Challenge starting today !!
Starting Bank: £1K
Markets: Bet on anything and everything.
Aim: To survive the month

Been doing quite nicely on Reged's Lay Comp ... still in it and now down to the last three people. My selection looks like it is being backed in so I might be out today ....
Trying to bet less and be a bit more selective with what I get involved in .... I still however bet across all the different types ie: pre-off, inrunning and trading.
I have a bot that does some horse lays and used to have a greyhound equivalent (but too much damage was done with the prices) so now with the greyhounds I have tightened the criteria and only bet (using the BOT) on one or two selections per day .... seems to do the trick however there is always "me" to help wreck it by playing on other greyhound races .....

Naturally every football bet is going to be the exact opposite to watch I originally was going to bet on .... defn try not to get too involved in things like tennis and football

Well it is coming up to the end of the Feb challenge ..... tbh things haven't gone too well 
.... with a loss of around £400 ish ... mainly on the horse racing.
Pretty poor effort really considering it was only effectively one day ..... the last couple of days I have been making some nice money and then as soon as I put up one of these challenge threads it all goes tits up ....
Now normally I post up p&l to show case how poor/well I did but tbh I really couldn't be asked .....
So this "monthly" challenge ends in a loss but the flame inside me still burns ...
Also I did say I was going to monthly challenges but nope second thought going to start another £100K challenge thread .... just trying to work out a reasonable title

Okay ... there it is in all it's glory although I won't bother posting up all the individual bet summary .... too depressing. I thought it was £400 loss but nope around £500 .... **** me
