Where can I find inplay betting graphs for completed betfair matches?

Need to do some backtesting.

Specifically looking at tennis.

Cheers in advance.

Thanks mate. Good some good info for matches from there. Anyone know how to get a graph up similar to the betfair histogram in the fracsoft data viewer?

It doesn't seem that self explanatory.

Thanks.

if you want inplay betting graphs then don't bother with http://data.betfair.com/ - it's will waste a load of your time and not get you what you want

If you are serious, get a program made that (a) captures prices at specific times and (b) creates a more detailed graph.

The graphs on betfair have so many factors (compression of time being one of them) that the presentation is far from linear.

Would anyone be kind enough to give a brief explanation as to the difference between Fracsoft and data.betfair?  Say for looking at football match odds prices pre-kickoff.

The free stuff on data.betfair.com will give you a complete record of odds & volumes matched. *BUT* it will only tell you the time that the odds were first matched and the time they were last matched. This means that you can't always tell how the odds changed over time. In other words, you can't reconstruct all the wiggles in the original trading graphs.

Fracsoft record the exact trading odds at different times. You could recreate the graphs from this data.

If you just want to work out whether or not a bet you might have placed would have been matched or not, the data.betfair.com free data is generally good enough.

The short answer is betfair data is rubbish but free, and fracsoft is good but you have to pay for it.

Thanks, chaps.

Thanks all.

U.A. - That's pretty much my conclusion too.

Fracsoft seems pretty good, just gets a bit pricey when you want loads of data to test.

Worked the graphs out, just expected a completed price/volume graph for the matches but it's a live one that moves as you play the simulation.
