New gamblers have it easy nowadays, there is so much info to get them started and keep them on the right track. Nobody taught me nothing, I had to learn the hard way.

Infact it's quite comforting and takes away a lot of pressure. You will naturally 'pull back' if you stick to what you are doing. You will not pull back if you increase stakes, get emotional about the 'numbers' or try too hard. ROUTINE
There is no overall profit and loss so I can't fathom how it goes. It seems it was going v well laying favourites but like most gamblers you have changed tack recently after hitting a losing run. But tbf you did say originally it was meant for finding EW alternatives. I'm not sure about the EW part, my advice (if you don't mind) is to cut the stakes and ACCEPT the sequences. Stop trying to GUARANTEE a profit every day, there is only so much you can do. There are not enough hours in the day to cover everything. Personally I specialise. What is your avg BET price? I would be interested in the ROI with horses 5 or bigger BSP.

I can't lay claim to this, it was actually someone on this forum, but I can't remember who.Anyway, they said if you multiply your strike rate by the average odds of your selections, if it's higher than 1.05 you should be profitable.I've tested this theory, though not completely thoroughly, and it seems to stand up.
I used a similar approach though it is based on level stakes on all bets.
People in the states, pros, are heavy on the 1.05. This means on level stakes, you make 5%. So you make £50 per £1,000 invested/risked.
"Big gamblers" in the States are into this. Tipping services are "kings" if they hit 6% on the season.
I'll take this "full circle" and say that number of winners and/or loses means nothing to the math since ultimately it comes down to your strike rate.
i.e. Me, this week: I had 14 losses at one point Monday to Friday last week. But over the five day period this took place in, I was 9 winners for 31, just shy of a 31% strike rate. And within those that didn't win, there were 4 EW's that returned dividends.
