I am working on completing my own ratings and am a novice at it so need help with 3 things please
1.  how to convert my ratings to expected prices the the best rating would be 200 and the lowest 0
2.  how to convert distance beaten into my ratings so got example if I had a horse rated 100 and it was beaten 1 length how would I incorporate that into my ratings for next time to improve them presumably I need to know what 1 point in my ratings is equal to in distance
3, I need a formula to correct this =AH34+AK34+AM34 basically at the minute it just adds the results of these three columns which = 0 or 4  so would be a total of 12 if all positive  , I want it to add up the three columns and if each = 4 then total would be 12, so  if AH34+AK34+AM34 =12 then place 5 in the column I am using the formula in ( hope I explained it ok )

Re. Q2 (I think you've had a reply to Q1 over on the Horse Racing forum).

I found these formulas in an old spreadsheet for converting distance beaten in lengths to a poundage figure.

Flat

(lengths beaten * 16) / (race distance in furlongs)

e.g. Beaten 2.5 lengths over 7 furlongs

= (2.5 * 16) / 7 = 5.71 pounds

Jumps

(lengths beaten * 19) / (race distance in furlongs)

e.g. Beaten 2.5 lengths over 20 furlongs

= (2.5 * 19) / 20 = 2.38 pounds

Maybe something you can play around with.

last question
how do you change to get result to show just e.g 5.71 instead of 5.714285714

you can format the cell as number, 2 decimal places.
