I would have been looking for good odds... this is just an outside chance, BUT:
Last change in PC was announced on 29/6/2011, the same day as Betfair PLC preliminary earnings announcement Tomorrow is their half year update. They have a new CEO who may want to make some changes I also have a hunch that Betfair might not be making quite as much as they expected from PC3 If nothing tomorrow then either Q3 or Q4 may reveal more. |

From Betfair:
Pricing continues to be under review No need to think about pricing changes in the 'medium term' (for company analysts) They learned 'a little bit' from the turnover pricing structure in Australia New hire from ebay should be able to provide useful input for them. Have you seen ebay fees lately!!?? I sold something for £352 and only got £295 after ebay/paypal fees! |

Betfair is currently organised around the three pillars of Product, Technology and Commercial. The Product department designs products, the Technology department builds them and the Commercial department then sells them. This structure does not engender a culture of product ownership or P&L accountability.
We will now operate under a new organisational structure based on the Exchange, Sportsbook and Gaming business units. Each unit will control, and have responsibility for, the design, build and sale of their respective products. This will help to drive a culture of increased ownership, resulting in faster and more efficient delivery. ---------- Hopefully having the Exchange as a separate entity will be a positive for us. |
