10 from 15 is calculated as

15! / 10! x 5!

which simplifies to 3003.

10 from 20 is 184,756

15 from 20 is 15,504

There is a formula for "any" from "any".

Say 4 folds in 6.

Start with the number of selections and count down how many "folds" you want;

6 x 5 x 4 x 3 = 360

Divide this by the fourfold counted down to 1

4 x 3 x 2 x 1 = 24

so 360/24 = 15

So trebles in 5;     5 x 4 x 3 divided by 3 x 2 x 1  =  60/6 = 10

hth.

worth remembering--example 10 selections
The doubles will equal the eightsomes
The trebles will equal the 7somes
The 4somes will equal the 6somes
The singles will equal the 9somes
