You need to act quickly as sales time is hitting us now very quickly.
Whereabouts in Leeds are you from? This idea has been mooted by a few people in the upper Headingley area that I know recently - I have 5 of my own, but would be willing to put you in touch if they ever manage to get something sorted. |

just been to see one at a small stable near me, cost is going to be 2k and £680 a month for a 50% share, horse is unraced but broken and ready to run about Jan, 1st foal of Make a Break who won a couple before injuring herself, lovely looking specimen

Who is training it? That's an okay-ish deal as long as everything is included though don't expect the world with a 4k foal.

Jo Foster near Leeds, and no we don't expect miracles but part of the excitement is that it could be good, bad or just plain average, that's if we go with that one, the fees are to be plus Wetherbys costs and travelling, but include the racing food and average vets charges, shoeing, worming gallops etc,and when not in full training drop down to a very small amount, the gelding looks magnificent and trots up as straight as a dye, were off to Clive Mulhalls tomorrow to see what he has to offer, its not something we are going to rush into, have to be as careful as poss

Good luck with your search goodyd. Have you considered Middleham? (there's no finer place on earth than watching work on Low Moor on a Spring morning) A mate of mine has had a couple in training with Kate Walton and speaks very highly of her, might be worth bearing in mind.
ps hope Cive Mullhall is well, coincidentally I was at school with him many moons ago. Cheers. |

cheers Tommy
did think of Middleham but want something that I can go see on a regular basis without a couple of hours drive, Clive is a bit grey now but thriving and was very helpful in showing me around the stable and introducing me to all his inmates, he is going to get back to me with a few options early next week, just need some guys to share the costs with |

Glad to hear Clive is thriving, hope you get something sorted soon. I had a 'leg' in a few 15-20 yrs ago and had a fantastic time. Highly recommended! Good luck

just missed one of Clive's, he rang me about it, unraced bumper horse running upsides one on the gallops that finished third behind a Brendan Powell horse the other day, I stalled and when I thought about it more and contacted the other guys it was too late....lol
would have cost about £600 each to buy with 6 in the syndicate and between £125 and £175 a month |
