Few guys in the forums have multiples exposure limit 10,000 and I want to have my limit increased to 10,000 too but Betfair keep ignoring me when after first try they denied my request. First time they denied saying that they cannot provide any reason why, second time they ignore my mails. Is there no chance for me to get my limit increased? how much more will I remain so tightly limited?

If you want a £10,000 exposure you have to have £10,000 in your account before they will increase it. They're a bit dim and don't explain it properly when you email to ask them.

Surely an exposure limit of 10,000 is fairly unnecessary, no? What kind of multiples are you looking to back? 2 quid multiples are a bit of fun but if your staking 10k surely you need to be worried about the sh1t prices you would be getting

yep its for laying. so i have for example 7000 and I'm stuck with 5000 limit until I reach 10000? seems a bit silly :)

Ask for a £7,000 exposure limit. Make sure you tell them it's for the multiples and not singles.

I always tell them that it's for multiples but when I had 2000 I asked for highest possible and they gave me 5000 but now with 7000 I can't get 10000.

if you have 7k in account with a 10k limit then 7k is your effective limit anyway so just ask for that as your exposure limit.

What do you suggest?

Hmmm I thought of that but the call would be very expensive and I'm not very good at talking in English. I don't think they will understand my username.

@faitas

Why call long distance and in English?

The 'Contact' portion of the 'About Us' (top left of website) section has the the local BF contact numbers in local language (eg if you set your language to German you get shown the German and Austrian phone numbers, etc).

Well I'm from a small country which doesn't have it's BF language so that won't work :)

I think they still ignore me. They are viewing my account but don't do anything, don't answer my inquiries to info email. Is this Betfair's "No winners welcome" policy?

yea I've done it quite a while ago except for Australian license wallet. I tried to fix that with with verifying my details but I don't know why it got suspended but since I don't use it I let it remain so.

2 weeks ago I asked for my limit to be increased more than I have in my account and didn't get an answer in 11 days. Helpdesk answers that they sent my inquiry to multiples department but outcome never comes and since you guys told me to ask a limit which is the same or lower than my current balance I did so and got an answer from helpdesk few days ago but no answer after sending to multiples department. I really don't know if it would work calling the helpdesk as it would cost me a fortune and I'm not really a good English speaker and don't know if they would understand my username. Also I would need a guarantee that they would increase my limit for sure.

why do you want an exposure limit for more than wots in your acc?
By:
Faitas
When: 10 Oct 12 19:03
Cause my balance is always increasing and I don't want to be asking them to increase my limit every time so higher limit would be nice but unfortunately they don't even increase my limit to match my balance :/

"cause my balance is always increasing"

in that case use some of that money to make the bloody phone call.. It will be the best fortune you ever spent.

Skype is reasonable.

you'll need to phone them to deal with it.

you can buy credit and use it to call a foreign landline number.

Guys ! Why they answered my email with this? "We are unable to increase your exposure limit any further and will not be able to in the future. Standard exposure limits on multiples are set between €1000 and €2000"
By:
TheInvestor2
When: 11 Oct 12 10:57
Well I'm not sure, but as a guess, why would Betfair want to give you a massive limit if you're winning? You know with multiples you bet against Betfair rather than others on the exchange right? You don't have these problems with your regular Betfair exchange betting do you?
By:
Faitas
When: 11 Oct 12 11:39
Yea thats a good guess actually. No winners welcome. I don't really bet much exchange and didn't ask for higher limit but I guess it is logical that I would not have problems with that.
