thought i had found an edge on these markets only to find the place only simply gets you your money back.first 2 bets on these markets actually won but today SHALLEEK was 2nd and instead of 170 return only got my 50 stake backCryany body else looked at these markets before and got confused?

I have seen them, also known as concession betting.  Can be useful, but I have only ever had 1 concession bet in my 20 year punting career thus far.

They had me the same way moonaxed a while back!...winning overall on them though, but haven't used them for quite a while. I think there are quite a few unclear bets on the 365 website.

Cover bets / Insurebets (name depends upon the bookie) always just pay your stake back if 2nd/3rd/4th (depends upon the market)

Bet365 also do place-only bets, don't confuse the two!

Cover bets can be very good value, and Bet365 often get their pricing wrong IMO. Good luck getting any serious money on with them...
