Appropriate title for me. Got into online gambling far too young, was always spending £50 here there and everywhere. When i got a proper job I wondered where my money went, I kept telling myself £20 here and there on a horse or team wont do any harm. And then that was it. I came home one night drunk, deposited my life savings into betfair and slowly lost it over a period of 3 hours, whilst i was getting even more pissed.

Well you cant describe the feeling in the morning.  No money, i blew it all. Since then ive tried to stop, but I will fully admit I like betting to much to stop.

At this point your thinking MUG. Yep. Your correct.
Although I have had 2 very successful days on here. Up I would say about £4000. Purely due to risk and luck, and Im no longer going to risk it.

The purpose of this thread is to log each bet, stake sensibly and try to win some money. Starting bank will be £1000. Bets on Football, Basketball, Cricket and Tennis.
At least in this thread if I stake too high or do something idoitic, somebody can moan at me.
No haters, just advise please. (I did have a previous thread and I lost all the money but it was a while ago and it make me more determined not to loose the money this time)

I have, withdrew £3000 and now have £1000 to play with and hopefully turn into something bigger so I can pay for a holiday.

Saturday 1st September
1) Spurs V Norwich - Over 1.5 Goals - £50 @ 1/8
2) Brechin V Alloa - Over 1.5 Goals - £100 @ 1/6
3) Ross County V Kilmarnock - Kilmarnock +2 - £100 @ 1/5

A bit risky doing low odds, but all have been researched and seem ok. Will find out soon. Looking for a regular income/profit.

At least im honest, more than most people on here. Not an addiction, more a pleasure.
Smithy - that would have been a disaster.
This is a side challenge, which uses a separate bank to my normal bets, before anyone looks at the daily P+L and comes on here saying im a cheat etc.

Bet 1) Won +£6.25

A very honest post Redbull. GL with your discipline, not easy. I think its the most important aspect of human behavior when it comes to gambling/trading.

How are you doing with this challenge?

Hey Redbull5 - no I am not a hater (as per your first post). While I commend you in not rushing can you please take the time to update your challenge thread ....

I hate it when people start a 'challenge' thread and then simply stop posting after a little while .... either update it regularly or simply end it with an appropriately worded summary ....
