thank you super, your comment doesnt address the underlying question.

There will be winners who back at 1.01 and winners who lay at 1.01.
If the value is there they will profit over time. |

if i had to pick one sport to lay 1.01 it would be tennis and to back 1.01 i would say snooker or rugby but thats just a personal preference and doesnt mean untold wealth

Frankel to get placed looks like it could come up, in my opinion not the most excitimg type of betting.

I do both and both make me money. Like any bet it's just a question of value to me. I will lay a 1.01 if it should be 1.02 and I'll back a 1.01 if it should be 1.005.
As a rule though, the value is generally in laying as you don't need to win very often and there are some very foolish 1.01 backers about. |

i find the goals market is good also ie the under 6.5 goals if u lay at 1.01 u arnt goin to do much damage but if a goal goes in fairly early u can trade out at 1.05 or better

For the horses IR at close to 1.01, i’d want to be a layer rather than a backer, but I’d be selective about which courses and race types to get involved with. There are definitely some racecourses (and even race types) that are more conducive to getting horses beaten at very low prices.
