I'm going to be working outside of the UK for much of the next 12 months.
Does anyone have any experience of accessing Betfair in Vietnam/China/South Korea? Similarly, what about Latin America? I'm aware that in certain places, online gambling is illegal. However, is this more a case of not being able to register and deposit in such places or are websites such as Betfair just completely inaccessible? (ie. If I'm accessing a funded account set up in the UK and not looking to deposit or withdraw money, am I likely to face less restrictions?)

in the US for example you can't actually log into Betfair....don't know about the countries you stipulated though
If you sign up and pay for a VPN service, you'll be able to access Betfair from anywhere in the world. You may break some Betfair and/or local rules/laws, but they will probably not find out and if they do, I don't think they will bother pursuing it.
Where I'm at we are only supposed to bet with our laughable national bookie. I know that some other European countries actively block certain bookies or make the bookies refuse their countrymen. I doubt that any of that is the case in Asian or Latin American countries though.
