As the title says, I placed a bet which I cancelled and in that time it was matched. Will the beat be honoured?
Also, I placed a seperate bet which wasn't matched but I managed to cancel however the funds weren't returned to my account balance? Will I have to wait until the games to be played out?

? Sorry but I can't see how this can be both. You may have WENT to cancel, but anything matched before the cancel happens is matched, end of story.
It's a matched bet.
You might get PART of the bet cancelled, and part matched, this is common with larger bets and expected to happen. Each bet made, if large enough, is eat into as other bets match it, and matched is matched.
