It is a depressing life being a "pro layer", gambler or degenerate gambler on betfair for the average Joe. Having a commission of anywhere over 2.5% is robbery/cheating. Cheating the gambler... After eventually coming to this conclusion, it left me with no choice but having to lay and then back at a slightly higher price to factor out the commission. This still leads to problems and even worse, the frustration. It is not always easy to predict how low a horse, for example, will trade pre race. That leaves me with the tense senario of backing "in running" with no gaurantee a certain price will be available. It is some sick people that grind out the few $ out of betfair eveyday. Normal people lose nearly always.
