Could be Flash - I've installed latest version 3 times and had to revert as it doesn't work.
Possibly a conflict with another add on in your browser |

If you're not on a tablet I think you'll find Windows 8 more of a ridiculous user-kick-in-the-nads than Betfair Beta, by everything I've read. If you've windows 7 the volume levels can be set per-application. Why not try a different browser instead of a different OS??? |

This apparently has worked for many others who face the same problems...I also posted it up on the thread in chit chat...
Try this........ Flash No Sound WaveMapper Solution Launch Registry Editor by typing regedit at Run command. Navigate to the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32 On the right pane, and check for existance of “wavemapper” registry subkey, the main culprit causing Flash no sound. If not found, create a new String value named “wavemapper”, and give the entry value “msacm32.drv”. If wavemapper entry already exists, ensure that its value data is “msacm32.drv”. Also ensure and verify that the msacm32.drv driver file is existing in C:\Windows\System32 folder. If the file is missing in that location, search for other copy of msacm32.drv in the computer, or copy that file from another system. Thank me later... ![]() |

I used to have similar issues. What worked for me was to remove the audio hardware and drivers from the system via control panel, then do a reload of windows, where it finds the new hardware and reinstalls it.
Can't recall exactly what was and wasn't working before I did this, but I know my sound tests worked, and it was a real head ****. Certainly sounds like a flash issue, but hey, this doesn't take long to check for a quick fix. ? |

Reload of windows, obviously just meaning log off, not reinstalling or anything. Just reboot it.
