at those stakes you will be a 2% commssion payer. Your long term profit will equate to 11% in generated charges so you'll just miss out on the 50% band but will be paying 40%. The effect on your expected take home profit will be approximately 31% at best (if you do not get caught out by a bad sequential set of results, which would depend on how big your bank was and how many such bets there are per week, the bigger the better in both cases)

you would be losing money as well as winning money quite regularly so commission paid and generated would be very high, possibly high enough to offset PC altogether?
Under your scenario you would need to increase your generated charges by 263% to avoid paying it altogether, so that's not remotely close. |

thanks mate. any chance you could give me a quick rundown on how you did that calculation?

win 20k comm at 2% = £400
lose 16k implied comm at 3% = £480 generated comm = (400+480)/2 = £440 gross profit = (20k-16k) = 4k commission genetated % = 440/4000 =11% shortfall = £1,160 net profit = £4k - £400 = £3,600 before PC After PC at 40% = £2,440 mimimum fall in profit = 32.23% |

that's the best case scenario obviously ...paying 2% comm and with perfect sequential results
