Had to happen. If betfair have to pay based on back bets they had no choice but to do this.

Apparently, restricting the action of the traders, made very little difference to liquidity, at today's Rosehill meeting.

Real thread title should be no more trading on NSW markets for anybody based in Aus/NZ.  And Pumpkin, there certainly was a choice, and that was to simply cease operating on NSW markets to prevent the rapid downfall of BF in Australia.
