I have previously stayed well clear of the PC, but, after one decent win,  my account statement  says

Premium Charge reversal - first week notified    754.27

Premium Charge for week commencing 16 Apr 12  (754.27)

Is this a mistake on their behalf? Is it a warning that I am on rhe verge of having to pay PC? If I don`t have any more decent wins, is this one winner rolled over with me still being liable to pay some of it in PC, or is it now `off the books`?

Any help appreciated.

It seems you've paid £754 in PC but they've let you off because it's your first time.

If that's the case, you'll now be paying PC on most winning weeks and should familiarise yourself with the rules.

If you check the portal it will give your stats to date.

Wow Lori, that was quick! Thanks. One more thing: My account summary says `current exposure -41.27. I have no currrent bets, so no current exposure, or is this PC related?

Not sure what that would be... possibly on a market like the premiership that's been partially settled?

No, nothing like that outstanding. My ` available to bet` and my `available to withdraw` show a  41 pounds discrepancy

Not sure what that would be. Probably only Betfair can answer that as they'll have access to more info.

As you say, I will have to master the complexities of the PC. Thanks again.

Possibly retained commission, Tim.  Usually the case on partially settled markets.  Could be wrong, but this is the only time I've had the same issue.
